DAILY SCHEDULE

Daily Schedule

Schedule is used as a basic guide only. Times are subject to change and flexibility is used throughout each day and week. Many "subjects" blend into others, but time is scheduled for them to ensure coverage.

What to Bring for Your Infant

The following is a list of items we feel are necessary for your child to have while they are in our care.

  • Diapers / wipes
  • Formula or breast milk
  • Pacifier (if needed)

  • 2 changes of clothes
  • Bottles (3 or 4)
  • Infant food / cereal

Formula can be brought either in powdered form, pre-made in a container, or pre-made bottles -- whichever you prefer. All pre-made formula must be labeled with your child’s name and the current date.

Any baby food brought in a container from home must be labeled as to what it is, the current date, and your child’s name. If you have any questions about anything please let us know.

Infant Daily Schedule

You will have the opportunity to let us know your infant's schedule--when they eat, how often they nap, and other details that will make your child's day run smoothly. The infant teachers will follow your schedule until just before your child turns one-year-old, and then they will be begin the transition to MCA Daily Schedule as they move up to a toddler room.

Daily Sheet
Everyday you will receive a written report, or "daily," about your child's day. This will include the times your child slept, ate, and what kind of mood they were in. It also contains information about what books they read, songs they sang, and art they created.

Lesson Plans
Our infant curriculum includes tummy time, group time, and cuddle time. Teachers sing songs, read books, and create art projects. When the weather is nice the infants are also taken for a walk in the buggy to enjoy the outdoors.

Toddler Daily Schedule/ Program
Our toddler program for one- and two-year-olds follows the MCA Daily Schedule. Each week the classrooms have a different theme that the teachers plan activities for in several different areas, including group time, fine and gross motor skills, sensory and cooking experiences, and art projects.
